Danielle Gough was raised in Wake Forest, NC but has called Wilmington home since 2018. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and proudly cheers for her Philly teams, especially the Eagles and the Flyers!
She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a focus on public health. She loves rooting on her alma mater and enjoys watching TarHeel basketball with Dr. Geeson!
She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at East Carolina University. So her list of teams to support grew to include the Pirates!
From a young age, Dr. Gough has enjoyed helping those in need. She has volunteered at soup kitchens, gone on mission trips, volunteered with free dental clinics, and most recently helped clean up the community after the hurricane. She strives to put the needs of others first and carries that into her work life as well. Making sure patients feel well cared for and treated like family.
In her free time, Dr. Gough enjoys cooking, boating, going to the beach, or doing something active around town. She has a mini dachshund named Penny who usually by her side on an adventure. She is always ready to share a photo of Penny…just ask.
Dr. Gough is active in many professional societies and service organizations including the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, The American Academy of Oral Medicine, and the North Carolina Dental Society.
